Chaos broke out aboard an Enugu Air flight on Monday when airline officials forcibly removed a male passenger, drawing national attention to the state-owned carrier just weeks after its launch.
A viral video circulating on social media shows the unidentified passenger being dragged off the aircraft by officials, as onlookers shouted in the background. One voice in the footage can be heard saying, “Yes, yes, go down,” suggesting that some passengers supported the ejection.

The airline has yet to provide an official explanation for the incident, and neither the passenger involved nor Enugu Air has issued a statement as of press time.
The footage, which clearly displays the airline’s logo on the plane, captures the tense moment as the passenger was escorted away amid commotion inside the cabin.
The development adds to a growing list of high-profile disputes between passengers and Nigerian airlines. In recent months, singer King Wasiu Ayinde (KWAM 1) was reported to have clashed with ValueJet staff at the Abuja airport, while Comfort Emmanson was involved in an altercation with attendants aboard an Ibom Air Uyo–Lagos flight.
The latest episode has fueled online debate, with many Nigerians expressing concern over the deteriorating relationship between domestic airlines and their passengers.
