Nigeria international Ademola Lookman has rejoined Atalanta’s first-team training after holding a meeting with head coach Ivan Juric on Thursday morning.
According to multiple Italian outlets, including La Gazzetta dello Sport, the forward trained with the squad on September 18, marking his first session back since being frozen out in August following his push to join Inter Milan.

Reports indicate that before the session, Lookman spoke privately with Juric and later addressed his teammates, admitting he had endured a “tough summer” but stressing that he is now fully motivated to contribute to the club this season.
The 26-year-old has not featured competitively for Atalanta so far this campaign, but he could return to action in their upcoming Serie A clash against Torino.

Atalanta resumed training just hours after suffering a 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in their Champions League opener on Wednesday night.
