The Federal Government has announced the official theme for Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day celebrations, emphasizing unity, collaboration, and patriotism among government institutions, the private sector, civil society, and citizens.
The theme, “Nigeria @ 65: All Hands on Deck for a Greater Nation,” highlights the importance of collective efforts to advance national peace, prosperity, and progress under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
To commemorate this milestone, several activities have been planned, including a Juma’at prayer on Friday, September 26, an inter-denominational church service on Sunday, September 28, and a World Press Conference on Monday, September 29, in Abuja.
Government agencies and partners are expected to align their programs with the anniversary theme to ensure its message resonates across all spheres of national life.
The theme reflects Nigeria’s resilience since independence in 1960 and emphasizes the need to consolidate past achievements while pursuing loftier goals.
By working together, Nigerians can build a nation characterized by sustainable peace, prosperity, and progress.
