This incident follows a series of recent attacks in the region, including the abduction of a woman and her two children near Senator Sunday Karimi’s residence in Egbe, and the kidnapping of passengers from a commercial bus in Ejiba.

The growing wave of insecurity has prompted residents to plead for assistance, with many forced to flee their homes due to repeated assaults.

The local government has witnessed several deadly bandit attacks, with vigilante officers and security personnel struggling to contain the situation.
