The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced that the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF Super Cup will take place at the 30 June Stadium in Cairo, Egypt, on Saturday, 18 October 2025, with a kickoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m. local time (5:00 p.m. GMT).

This year’s edition will see Pyramids FC, winners of the 2024/25 CAF Champions League, go head-to-head with RS Berkane, champions of the 2024/25 CAF Confederation Cup, in what promises to be a thrilling North African showdown.

The encounter marks the first time since 2014 that Cairo will host the prestigious one-match contest between the winners of Africa’s two elite interclub tournaments.

Last year’s Super Cup was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Zamalek FC emerged champions after defeating local rivals Al Ahly.

Since its inception in 1993, the CAF Super Cup has been won by 17 different clubs. Al Ahly remain the most successful side in the competition’s history, boasting eight titles.

For Pyramids FC, this will be their first-ever appearance in the Super Cup — a significant milestone for the Cairo-based club. Meanwhile, RS Berkane will be chasing their second title, having previously claimed the crown in 2022.

CAF also confirmed the prize money for the fixture: the winning team will earn USD 500,000, while the runner-up will receive USD 250,000.
