The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) confirmed the incident and stated that a multi-agency team is currently assessing the wreckage and coordinating rescue and recovery operations.
The KCAA has launched an investigation into the cause of the crash, with government agencies working to establish the impact of the accident.
