Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has imposed a 24-hour curfew on Igbajo town in Boluwaduro local government area, effective immediately, following a
breakdown of law and order.
The curfew is aimed at restoring peace and order in the community, which has been plagued by unrest stemming from the death of Prince Adegboyega Famodun, who passed away last week.
Governor Adeleke warned that anyone found engaging in acts that could further destabilize the town will face the full force of the law.
Security personnel, including the Army, Police, DSS, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, have been deployed to maintain surveillance and ensure compliance with the curfew.
The governor expressed his condolences to the family and people of Igbajo, stating that his administration will not tolerate any breach of peace and order in the state.
