Terrorists have attacked Kirchinga community in Adamawa State, killing a former councillor, Hon. Thlama Sini, and abducting his two sons.
The incident occurred on Monday in the home village of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, sparking fear among residents who have long struggled with sporadic terrorist attacks.
According to family sources, the terrorists stormed Sini’s residence, demanding he follow them into the forest with his sons.
When Sini, who is diabetic and hypertensive, asked for a ransom, the attackers refused and took him to the outskirts of the village, where he was shot dead.
Authorities have yet to issue an official statement, and the search for the abducted children continues.
