Globacom, Nigeria’s telecom giant, has confirmed a nationwide data service outage affecting millions of subscribers across the country.
The disruption, which began around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, has impacted data connectivity in multiple states, leaving users unable to access the internet or perform online transactions.
Glo has acknowledged the issue, apologizing for the inconvenience and assuring subscribers that its technical team is working diligently to restore services as quickly as possible.
The company understands the importance of reliable access and appreciates customers’ patience and loyalty.
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has mandated service providers, including Glo, to inform consumers of major service outages and provide compensation if the outage lasts more than 24 hours.
