The Youth Rights Campaign (YRC) has called on Nigerians to participate in a nationwide protest on December 10, 2025, to mark World Human Rights Day and demand the freedom of #EndBadGovernance protesters.

The group accuses the Tinubu administration of escalating repression and rights violations, citing the Cybercrime Act used to silence critics and activists.

The protest, organized by the #EndBadGovernance Movement, aims to address issues such as poor governance, economic hardship, and human rights abuses.

YRC National Secretary Francis Nwapa emphasized the need for accountability, respect for democratic freedoms, and an end to anti-poor policies.

The group demands the withdrawal of treason and terrorism charges against 11 #EndBadGovernance protesters, including Adaramoye Michael Lenin, and the unfreezing of their bank accounts.

YRC also highlights ongoing cases of state persecution of activists, workers, and journalists, and condemns the demolition of poor communities for real estate development.
