More often, it is the followers and critics who scrutinize every step, amplify minor missteps, and turn them into needless controversy.”

The incident occurred when she asked Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, to stop singing or she would switch off his microphone, sparking widespread criticism on social media.

Tinubu defended her actions, saying leaders should not be judged too harshly for minor errors.

“I understand that my actions may have been perceived differently, and for that, I apologize,” she wrote. “Let us focus on the bigger picture and work towards a better Nigeria.”

The Osun State government has yet to comment on the development.

The controversy has sparked a heated debate on social media, with many Nigerians criticizing Tinubu’s behavior as disrespectful and authoritarian.
