Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Group, has promised to further reduce petrol prices nationwide.
This assurance comes after the company announced that MRS, which operates over 2,000 filling stations, will sell petrol at ₦739 per litre in Lagos, down from ₦885.
Dangote stated that petrol will sell at no more than ₦740 per litre from Tuesday, starting in Lagos.
The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has also reduced its minimum purchase requirement from two million litres to 500,000 litres, enabling more marketers to participate in product offtake.
The refinery is selling petrol at ₦699 per litre, with plans to deploy Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) trucks for nationwide distribution.
