The quarter-final line-up for the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 is now almost complete following Algeria’s 1–0 extra-time victory over DR Congo on Tuesday. Substitute Anis Boulbina scored the decisive goal in the 119th minute in Rabat, setting up a quarter-final clash with Nigeria.
Nigeria had already booked their place in the last eight on Monday with a 4–0 win over Mozambique, thanks to a brace from Victor Osimhen.

Other teams that had previously qualified for the quarter-finals include Senegal, Mali, hosts Morocco, Cameroon, and Egypt.
Defending champions Côte d’Ivoire became the final team to advance after a commanding 3–0 win over Burkina Faso in Marrakesh on Tuesday night. Amad Diallo (20’), Yan Diomandé (32’), and Bamba Touré (87’) scored for the Elephants, who will now face Egypt on Saturday in Agadir.
