The players and coaching staff of the Super Eagles are reportedly awaiting the payment of their bonus entitlements at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
According to BBC Sport writer Oluwashina Okeleji, win bonuses from Nigeria’s four matches at the tournament against Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Mozambique are yet to be paid, despite assurances given to the team before the competition began.
Although the squad remains focused on their campaign, it is understood that the players and officials have resolved not to train or travel to Marrakesh on Thursday if the issue is not addressed.

Nigeria reached the quarter-finals after going unbeaten in the group stage and the Round of 16 and are scheduled to face Algeria in the last-eight clash.
The development has raised concerns within the camp, with sources indicating that officials had earlier promised to settle all bonus payments ahead of the tournament.
The Super Eagles, three-time Africa Cup of Nations champions, are expected to move to Marrakesh on Thursday in preparation for Saturday’s quarter-final encounter against Algeria. However, the planned travel and training schedule may be disrupted if the outstanding payments remain unresolved.
