Super Eagles of Nigeria captain, Wilfred Ndidi has urged his teammates to stay focused and train in Marrakesh ahead of their AFCON 2025 quarter-final clash with Algeria.

Speaking to the squad on Thursday, Ndidi said he does not want unpaid bonuses to affect the team’s preparations. “I told players and coaching staff that I’ll personally make the payments if the authorities fail to do so before Saturday,” he said as reported by BBC Journalist, Oluwashina Okeleji.

Since the win over Tunisia that secured their Round of 16 spot, Ndidi and other senior players have been encouraging the team to remain focused and continue performing on the pitch.

The Super Eagles are set to train in Marrakesh ahead of the highly anticipated clash with Algeria.
