The Inmates Educational Foundation (IEF) has successfully concluded a series of educational seminars in correctional centres in Osun and Ebonyi States, Nigeria.
The seminars, which engaged inmates, volunteer educators, and correctional officers, focused on literacy, personal development, and academic advancement.

The Foundation also distributed essential educational materials, including notebooks, textbooks, and writing supplies, to support the continuity of teaching and learning within the facilities.
Speaking on the initiative, Alabidun Mahfuz, Team Lead of IEF, emphasized the importance of education in transforming and rehabilitating inmates, preparing them for successful reintegration into society.

The Project Manager, Adebowale Abdul-Ghaffar Adeniran, highlighted the significance of collaboration and structured learning in achieving meaningful impact.
The project was funded by the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), and correctional centre authorities commended the Foundation’s efforts, noting the positive contribution to inmates’ mental development and rehabilitation outcomes.
