The Chinese Ambassador to Mali, Li Xiang, paid a courtesy call on Mali’s Minister of Defense and Civil Protection, Major General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, in a meeting that marked the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Li expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and praised the Malian people’s respect and care for Chinese citizens.
He also commended the strengthening of cooperation between Mali and China, particularly in military cooperation, training, technical assistance, and equipment supply.
Minister Mohammedine congratulated Ambassador Li on his appointment and emphasized the deep respect between Mali and China for each other’s independence and sovereignty.
