The Senate has commenced the screening process for Taiwo Oyedele, nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Minister of State for Finance, to replace Doris Uzoka-Anite.
Oyedele, a seasoned economist, accountant, and public policy expert, previously served as chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, leading efforts to overhaul Nigeria’s tax system.
With over 22 years of experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers, rising to Fiscal Policy Partner and Africa Tax Leader, Oyedele brings extensive expertise to the role.
His nomination is part of ongoing adjustments within the Federal Executive Council, aiming to strengthen Nigeria’s fiscal policies.
