Senator Peter Ndalikali Jiya, representing Niger South, has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing internal challenges within the party.
In his resignation letter, Jiya expressed gratitude for the opportunities to serve and acknowledged the support from party officials.
Jiya stated that the decision was prompted by “many troubles within her walls”, but will remain loyal to his principles.
He requested continued understanding and support from party members, regardless of his future political alignment.
