Nigeria and Vietnam have reached a significant trade milestone, with bilateral trade hitting $1 billion in 2024/2025, according to Bui Quoc Hung, Vietnam’s ambassador to Nigeria.
This marks the first time trade between the two countries has surpassed the $1 billion mark, with Vietnam importing crude oil and raw materials from Nigeria and exporting textiles and other goods.
The ambassador highlighted the growing relationship between Nigeria and Vietnam, citing expanded cooperation in politics, trade, defence, and people-to-people exchanges.
