The attackers, who arrived in a bus around 2am, forcefully entered the government-owned facility and took away the victims, including some interns.

According to eyewitnesses, the bandits operated with precision and speed, leaving little room for resistance.

The victims were bundled into the bus and driven off to an unknown destination.

However, in a swift response, the Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun, rescued three of the abducted health workers, while two other victims, a 45-year-old man and his 15-year-old son, were also freed in a separate operation.

The incident has heightened concerns over security in the state, with residents calling for increased measures to prevent such attacks.
