The Federal Government has declared Friday, April 3, and Monday, April 6, 2026, as public holidays to mark this year’s Easter celebration.
Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, made the announcement, urging Nigerians to embrace the values of selflessness, forgiveness, and love exemplified by Jesus Christ’s life and teachings.
In a statement, Dr. Tunji-Ojo encouraged Nigerians to remain committed to tolerance and community values, promoting national unity and prosperity.
The government aims to make decisions driving national rebirth, economic growth, and shared prosperity.
