President Bola Tinubu is set to visit Plateau State on Thursday to commiserate with residents over recent gun attacks that claimed lives. The visit aims to show solidarity with the state government and affected families.
Tinubu had earlier summoned Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, to Abuja for high-level talks on the situation.
The attacks, which occurred on Palm Sunday, resulted in 28 deaths and several injuries.
The President has directed security agencies to identify and apprehend those responsible, assuring that they will face severe punishment.
