Senator Idiat Oluranti Adebule, representing Lagos West District, has praised the Supreme Court’s judgment on local government financial autonomy, calling it a significant step toward Nigeria’s organic growth and development through the grassroots.

Senator Adebule commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his persistence in pursuing the matter through the courts, ensuring the rule of law prevails in Nigeria. She noted that the apex court’s decision has empowered local councils financially, enhancing their ability to address grassroots challenges.
