Tunisia’s Administrative Court Allows Abdellatif Mekki to Resume Presidential Candidacy

On Tuesday, Tunisia’s administrative court ruled in favor of prominent politician Abdellatif Mekki, reinstating his candidacy for the upcoming presidential election scheduled for October 6.

The court’s decision came after Mekki’s initial exclusion by the electoral commission, which cited insufficient popular endorsements as the reason.
