Former Chief Judge of Kaduna State, Justice Tanimu Zailani, has passed away. He died in the early hours of Sunday in Kaduna state following a brief illness.

Zailani who was the Chief Judge of the High Court of Kaduna state from 2013 to 2018, was buried, amidst a high turn out of mourners on. Sunday afternoon in Rigachikun, some few kilometers to Kaduna metropolis

A title holder, Ubangarin Rigachikun, in terse statement, confirmed the death of Zailani and prayed to Almighty Allah for the repose of his soul.

His tenure was marked by significant contributions to the judiciary in the state
