A fire erupted on Monday morning at the Katsina State Government House, resulting in significant damage to a crucial section of the building. The affected area includes an important chamber adjacent to Governor Dikko Umaru Radda’s office, where the governor typically receives distinguished guests.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined, and authorities have yet to release further details about the incident. At the time of the blaze, Governor Radda was in Funtua attending a zonal town hall meeting, ensuring his safety away from the government premises.
