A fatal accident on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge claimed the life of one person and left eight others severely injured following a head-on collision between two Mazda commercial buses.

The crash occurred near the Ilaje area, en route to Iyana-Oworonsoki, after a reckless high-speed chase that began at Adeniji Adele.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) swiftly responded, rescuing the injured passengers, who were all rushed to Gbagada General Hospital by the Lagos State Ambulance Services (LASAMBUS).
The victims sustained multiple fractures and are receiving urgent medical attention.
