Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), is currently undergoing a confirmation hearing before the Senate to solidify her position as the substantive holder of the office.
The screening is taking place in the upper legislative chamber.
Kekere-Ekun has served in an acting capacity since August, following the retirement of her predecessor, Olukayode Ariwoola.
She was accompanied by several justices from various courts and members of her family during the screening process.
