The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Rwanda for November 18 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

The announcement was made on Tuesday by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). This Matchday 6 fixture will conclude the Group D qualifying race for spots at the 35th Africa Cup of Nations finals, set to be held in Morocco in December 2025/January 2026. Kick-off for the match is slated for 5 p.m.

CAF has appointed Moroccan officials to oversee the game, with Samir Guezzaz serving as the referee. Assisting him will be compatriots Zakaria Brinsi (Assistant Referee 1), Abdessamad Abertoune (Assistant Referee 2), and Kech Chaf Mustapha (Fourth Official). Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will act as the match commissioner, while Somalian Ali Mohamed Ahmed will serve as the referee assessor.

For the preceding Matchday 5 fixture against Benin Republic at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny on November 14, scheduled for an 8 p.m. Nigeria time kick-off, CAF has appointed a team of officials from Senegal. Issa Sy will be the referee, with Djibril Camara, Nouha Bangoura, and El Hadji Amadou Sy serving as Assistant Referee 1, Assistant Referee 2, and Fourth Official, respectively. René Williams Sere from Côte d’Ivoire will be the match commissioner, with Angolan Inacio Manuel Candido as the referee assessor.
