Abdi Nageeye of the Netherlands won the New York Marathon men’s title on Sunday, finishing in an unofficial time of 2 hours, 7 minutes, and 39 seconds.

The Somalia-born Dutchman, who placed third in New York in 2022 and also the Tokyo Olympics runner-up, edged out Kenya’s Evans Chebet by six seconds.

Kenyan Albert Korir took third with a time of 2:08:00.
