The Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Engr. Shehu Ahmad, has been suspended indefinitely. This was disclosed in a statement released on Thursday by Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
The suspension, which takes immediate effect, includes directives for Engr. Ahmad to hand over his responsibilities to the Director of Engineering Services within the FCDA.
While the statement confirmed the suspension, it did not specify the reasons behind the decision. This development comes amid ongoing restructuring efforts within the FCT administration under Minister Wike’s leadership.
