Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has received an outpouring of support from fans, colleagues, and well-wishers following a devastating fire outbreak that destroyed her home.

The actress took to Instagram on Wednesday night to share a poignant video revealing the extent of the destruction. Despite the heartbreaking loss, Aigbe expressed gratitude that no lives were lost. Captioning the video, she wrote, “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost. It is well.”

Fellow actress Iyabo Ojo was among the first to offer condolences, extending heartfelt words of encouragement to Aigbe and her husband, Kazim Adeoti. In a message posted on Instagram, Ojo wrote,

“My dear friend @realmercyaigbe & my humble brother @kazimadeoti, I’m deeply sorry to hear about the devastating loss of your home. My heart goes out to you both during this challenging time. Please know that God is with you, and He will help you rebuild and create something even more beautiful. This loss is not the end but a new beginning. I’m grateful that no lives were lost, and with that, there’s hope for a brighter future. Stay strong, my dear friends, and know that I’m here for you.”

The news has drawn widespread sympathy from fans and industry colleagues, with many expressing relief that the tragedy did not claim any lives and pledging their support for the actress and her family.

As of the time of this report, Aigbe has not disclosed the cause of the fire outbreak.
