Algeria’s National Development Hydrocarbon Agency (ALNAFT) has signed a significant agreement with U.S. energy giant Chevron to cooperate on offshore hydrocarbon projects.

The deal, announced by the energy ministry, is part of Algeria’s efforts to increase its hydrocarbon output to meet growing demand, particularly from Europe.
