Ondo State’s newly sworn-in governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed Taiwo Fasoranti, son of Afenifere leader Reuben Fasoranti, as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
This announcement came shortly after Aiyedatiwa’s inauguration on Monday.
In addition to Fasoranti’s appointment, Aiyedatiwa reappointed several officials, including:
- Kayode Ajulo as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice
- Omowunmi Isaac as Commissioner for Finance
- Johnson Alabi as Special Adviser on Power
- Seun Osamaye as Special Adviser on Women Affairs
- Bola Taiwo as Special Adviser on Union Matters and Special Duties
- Simidele Odimayo as Special Adviser on Health
Aiyedatiwa also elevated Abiola Olawoye to the position of Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing.
The governor urged the appointed officials to “hit the ground running” in providing effective services to the people of Ondo State.
