The Prime Minister of Niger Republic, H.E. Ali Lamine Zeine, has also arrived in Katsina, becoming the first world leader to arrive for the funeral.

The arrival of these prominent figures underscores the respect and admiration for the late former President, who passed away on Sunday, July 13, after a prolonged illness.

The burial ceremony is expected to be attended by various dignitaries, including government officials, traditional leaders, and other prominent individuals.

The Federal Government had earlier declared Tuesday, July 15, a public holiday in honor of the late President.
