Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is set to undergo a medical on Thursday ahead of a blockbuster €75 million transfer from Napoli to Turkish giants Galatasaray.

Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the 26-year-old will arrive in Istanbul on Wednesday to finalise the deal.

All contractual documents have been completed and co-signed, paving the way for Osimhen to officially join the Turkish Super Lig champions.

Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, enjoyed a sensational campaign—scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances across all competitions. His prolific form convinced Galatasaray to trigger the €75 million release clause in his Napoli contract.

The payment structure includes €40 million to be paid upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be settled by the end of 2026. Napoli will also receive up to €5 million in performance-related bonuses and have inserted a 10% sell-on clause into the agreement.

In a significant addition, the deal includes an anti-Serie A clause, preventing Osimhen from joining any rival Italian club for the next two years.

Despite receiving a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, Osimhen opted for a return to Galatasaray under head coach Okan Buruk, reaffirming his commitment to competing at the top level in European football.
