Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has sealed a permanent transfer to Turkish giants Galatasaray SK in a blockbuster €75 million deal, officially ending his successful stint with Italian side Napoli.

Galatasaray confirmed the signing across their social media platforms, sharing images and videos of Osimhen’s arrival. The club had earlier built anticipation by livestreaming his flight from Italy, sparking widespread excitement among supporters.

Osimhen spent the 2024/2025 season on loan at Galatasaray, where he made a huge impression, prompting the club to pursue a permanent move.

The deal with Napoli includes an initial €40 million payment, with a further €35 million due by 2026. The agreement also features €5 million in performance-related bonuses, bringing the total package to €75 million.

The Nigerian international, who helped Napoli clinch the Serie A title in 2023, departs Italy as one of the most prolific and admired strikers in Europe. His switch to Galatasaray represents a major boost for the Istanbul club ahead of their domestic and European campaigns.
