A disturbing incident unfolded at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos when a female passenger on an Ibom Air flight from Uyo assaulted a flight attendant and later clashed with airport security officials.
According to eyewitnesses, the altercation began mid-flight when the passenger reportedly struck an air hostess.
Upon landing, the situation escalated, with the woman confronting security personnel on the tarmac before being forcibly escorted away in an airport bus.
This incident has sparked a stern reminder from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to air travelers about respecting the responsibilities that come with air travel.
The NCAA emphasized that unruly behavior will not be tolerated, following closely on the heels of another high-profile case involving Fuji legend Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM1, who was handed a flight ban after an altercation with ValueJet staff at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
