NIGERIA : Dangote Refinery Reduces Petrol Price to ₦820 Per Litre

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦30 reduction in the ex-depot (gantry) price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bringing the rate down from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.

In a statement issued by its Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, the refinery said the new price took effect on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

The company described the move as part of its unwavering commitment to national development and assured Nigerians of a consistent and uninterrupted supply of petroleum products.

“As part of our dedication to operational excellence and sustainable energy solutions, Dangote Petroleum Refinery will commence the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution across Nigeria from August 15, 2025,” the statement added.
