The Super Eagles of Nigeria booked their place in the World Cup playoffs in emphatic fashion after thrashing Benin Republic 4–0 on Tuesday.

Victor Osimhen was the star of the night, netting a sensational hat-trick to fire Nigeria past their West African neighbours, while Frank Onyeka added a stunning volley to complete the rout.
