Internet access in Cameroon has been significantly disrupted due to ongoing protests over alleged irregularities in the recent presidential election.
NetBlocks, an internet monitor, confirmed the disruption, which may limit coverage of events on the ground.
The country’s constitutional council had earlier thrown out all petitions contesting the October 12 presidential election, paving the way for full results to be announced.
