Nigeria’s Falconets capped off their dominant run at the 2025 WAFU B U-20 Girls Cup with a 1-0 win over hosts Benin Republic on Tuesday.
The victory, secured by Ramotalahi Kareem’s 16th-minute strike, marked the Falconets’ second triumph over the Young Amazons in the tournament and sealed a flawless campaign for Coach Moses Aduku’s team.

Despite creating several chances, the Falconets were unable to extend their lead, but their early goal proved enough to secure all three points and maintain their perfect record.
Nigeria finished the competition with four wins from four matches, scoring 10 goals and conceding only once.
The reigning champions had earlier defeated Ghana’s Black Princesses twice (3-1 and 3-0) and also cruised past Benin 3-0 in their first encounter, underlining their dominance in West African women’s football.
