More than 52 school children were kidnapped last night from St Mary Private Primary and Secondary School in Papiri, Agwara LGA of Niger State, North Central Nigeria.
This shocking incident comes less than 72 hours after a school was attacked in Maga, Danko Wasagu LGA of Kebbi State, sparking widespread outrage and concern.
The kidnapping has sent shockwaves across the country, with many calling for increased security measures to protect schools and students.
This is not an isolated incident, as Nigeria has seen a surge in school kidnappings and attacks in recent years, with over 1,000 children abducted since 2014.
The Nigerian government has been urged to take immediate action to ensure the safe release of the abducted children and to prevent such incidents in the future.
