Nigeria: Niger Governor Orders Closure of Schools Until After New Year Amid Security Concerns

Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago has directed the closure of all schools, including private and public institutions, Islamic and missionary schools, federal government colleges, and some tertiary institutions, until after the New Year.

Schools in security-affected areas will remain closed until further notice.
