Nigeria and the Republic of China have agreed to strengthen bilateral relations on security, stability, and sovereignty.
This was the outcome of a strategic meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, and the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Yu Dunhai.
The meeting focused on advancing ongoing partnerships and exchanging views on regional and global developments, with China reaffirming its support for Nigeria’s security, stability, and sovereignty.
Both sides discussed expanded areas of cooperation, including industrialisation, technology transfer, and capacity-building, and agreed to review bilateral agreements to unlock new areas of collaboration.
