The National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Taminu Turaki, met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at his presidential library home in Abeokuta, Ogun State, on Saturday.
The meeting, attended by other PDP elder statesmen, including former governors Babangida Aliyu and Jona Jang, is believed to be linked to current developments within the party.
While the exact reason for the meeting remains unclear, speculation suggests it may be connected to the party’s internal affairs and potential alliances ahead of the 2027 elections.
