Egypt secured a dramatic 2-1 victory over Zimbabwe in Group B of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, thanks to a stoppage-time strike from Mohamed Salah on Monday.

Zimbabwe took an early lead in the 20th minute through Prince Dube after a fine assist from Jordan Jalai. Egypt dominated possession throughout but struggled to break through until Omar Marmoush equalised in the 63rd minute. In another Group B encounter, South Africa edged Angola 2-1 at the Grand Stade de Marrakech.
