The Super Eagles of Nigeria booked their place in the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations with a convincing 3–1 victory over Uganda at the Fez Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Nigeria took control of the Group C encounter with goals from Paul Onuachu and a brace by Raphael Onyedika, sealing all three points and ensuring the three-time African champions finished top of the group with a perfect nine points.
