Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has announced a significant reshuffle of his cabinet, highlighted by the immediate replacement of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

In a statement released on Monday, the governor relieved Professor Olanike Kudirat Adeyemo of her duties and appointed Professor Musibau Adetunji Babatunde as the new SSG.

The shake-up also includes the redeployment of Temilolu Seun Ashamu, who moves from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to head the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.

Additionally, the governor has nominated his Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate, pending screening by the Oyo State House of Assembly.

The reshuffle also brought new faces into the administration, with Honourable Abiodun Adedoja appointed as Special Adviser on Energy Security and Kolawole Elijah Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning .
